Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) - M:tel Digital Factory has selected the students for its second Startup Academy, who will be divided into 16 teams.

They are potential winners of the investments amounting to tens thousands of euros.

PR of M:tel Digital Factory, Bojana Maras, says that all students of the Academy will have an opportunity to move the limits and show the whole world that Montenegro can be recognized as a country of good and innovative projects.

"All selected teams are actually the startups in the earliest phase of development with authentic ideas," Maras told Mina-business agency.

She said that, if an idea fits into M:tel's development strategy, the company planned to make an initial investment of €30,000 in its development.

"The creators of ideas will receive free mentors' support over a period of several months," Maras said, adding that the mentors will include the renowned regional business experts who will be working on gradual development of the ideas.

She said that the mentors would be available for individual and online consultations.

"M:tel will be available as a potential partner for promotion, distribution and investment in the best projects. We will organize MeetUps on regular basis, featuring local and foreign speakers, investors and large business systems from different industries," said Maras.

She reminded that, in addition to the Startup Academy and co-working space, M:tel Digital Factory has gathered together the Montenegrin digital community.

"Over 200 events, MeetUps, presentations, mentorship sessions, info-days, and workshops on programming and 3D printing have been held at M:tel Digital Factory in the previous twelve months," said Maras.
