Grants for mechanization available

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has invited the interested farmers to apply by 20 April for grants for the procurement of mechanization and equipment.
The Ministry says in a press release that the support available under this call amounts to no more than 50 percent of the investment or €2,500 per application.
The Ministry reminds that the support for the procurement of mechanization was introduced in 2017 as a separate measure in the agricultural budget, in order to improve the conditions for the procurement of the equipment.
"A great interest of farmers has proved that this measure was justified," the Ministry says.
The press release says that the call will be closed if the support requested by the farmers exceeds the amount earmarked by the budget.
