*PARLIAMENT – PRIME MINISTER S QUESTIONS

There will be no damage for the state

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Prime Minister Dusko Markovic has said that Montenegro will not pay a single euro more than the contracted amount for the construction of the motorway, nor will the state be damaged by a single cent.

"Numerous undeniable facts deny the frequent allegations that the state would be damaged by €134 million because of the alleged omissions that occurred during the motorway construction preparation process," Markovic said, answering MPs questions at the Parliament.

Answering the question of Ervin Ibrahimovic of the Bosniak Party (BS) about the cost of motorway construction and additional works, he said that the contract stipulated the amount of 10 percent for subsequent and unforeseen works amounting to €81 million.

"The construction of the first phase of works, including the water supply system and the power supply system will be paid from that amount," said Markovic.

He reminded that the funds for financing of the first section of the motorway through repayment of the loan had been provided thanks to better tax collection.
