Investments in Uniprom KAP are great opportunity for Montenegro

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded during a visit Prime Minister Dusko Markovic paid to Uniprom KAP that the investments in this company, including €36 million already invested and €30 million in planned investments, are a great opportunity for Montenegro's economy, industrial production and export increase.
"A new modern industrial centre is being developed in Montenegro. I am sure that most citizens do not know about it, not only in Montenegro, but also in Podgorica. New plants and new factories for the finalisation of aluminum production are being developed here," Markovic said.
According to a press release issued by the Government's Public Relations Service, Markovic said that a new line for the production of aluminum alloys would be completed in May, while a new plant with a line for the production of aluminum billet would be ready by the end of the year.
Markovic announced that the opening of a new plant for the production of aluminum wire and steel wire was planned for the next year.
The Uniprom owner, Veselin Pejovic, said that €20 million had been invested so far in the replacement of 170 cells and in other infrastructure.
