Sub-committee on Internal Market and Competition to meet tomorrow

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A meeting of the Sub-Committee on Internal Market and Competition of Montenegro and the European Commission will be held in Podgorica tomorrow.
The Government’s Secretariat General says in a press release that the meeting will focus on the progress made in the field of competition, state aid, consumer and health protection, as well as the reforms in the field of banking, insurance and other financial services.
“The results achieved in the field of the right of establishment and freedom to provide services, intellectual, industrial and commercial property will be discussed, as well as the situation in the field of public procurement and company law,” the press release says.
In all these fields, the focus will be placed on the harmonization and implementation of the legislation, and development of institutional and administrative capacities.
“Representatives of Montenegrin institutions will present the progress made in this field since the previous meeting held in June 2018,” the press release says.
