Cooperation opportunities in the textile industry

Niksic, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Mayor of Niksic Veselin Golubovic has said that it is possible to extend already excellent cooperation between this municipality and Turkey to textile industry and residential development, adding that Turkish investors already expressed interest in these sectors.
At a meeting with a delegation from Turkey, he said that some major projects had been implemented in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), adding that the company Tosyali, which operates the Toscelik ironworks, was one of the largest Turkish investors in Niksic.
“President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic is particularly interested in the Ironworks and I hope he will meet with its owners in the coming period to find a model for additional development of manufacturing in this plant and ferrous metallurgy,” said Grbovic.
New Ambassador of Turkey to Montenegro Songul Ozan said that the cooperation with the local administration of Niksic had been good, adding that she would focus on attracting as many Turkish investors as possible.
“Niksic has been and still is a very important city. We discussed the possibility of arrival of Turkish investors with the Mayor, as Niksic has many people with expertise in the field of industry,” said Ozan.
She said that the local administration was doing its best to make Niksic as attractive as possible, adding that it had an ideal geographical position.
