Revenues increase by 11 percent

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Tax Administration has collected €443.85 million since the beginning of the year, eleven percent more than in the same period of 2018.
The tax authority says in a press release that the collection was seven percent higher than planned.
“The Tax Administration has continued following positive trends in the collection of tax revenues in May, when it collected €86.84 million, exceeding the plan and the last year’s results by six percent,” the press release says.
In the first five months, a total of €98.28 million was collected in value added taxes, up 11.5 percent year on year and 7.5 percent more than planned.
In this period, the tax authority collected €52.19 million in corporate profit tax, twelve percent more than in the same period last year.
The revenues coming from the mandatory insurance increased by seven percent year on year to €195.87 million, six percent more than planned, while the ones coming from the personal income tax amounted to €64.67 million, €8 million more than in the last year’s corresponding period.
