Investment necessary to boost the development of start-ups

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – One of the founders of Uhura Solutions Blazo Crvenica believes that a favourable environment for the development of the start-up ecosystem could be provided by the legislation, investments in the best ideas and by offering tax reliefs, which would stimulate creative people to register start-ups in Montenegro.
“The Government is responsible for providing the environment conducive to the development of start-ups, earmarking the funds that will be invested in the best ideas, and perhaps offering some tax reliefs to the start-ups that meet certain criteria,” Crvenica told Mina-business agency.
He added that such an ecosystem would be a good PR for a small country such as Montenegro.
Crvenica reminded that a majority of start-ups had started to develop almost without any resources, adding that it was therefore very important for them to have certain support of the government and their community at the beginning.
“It is upon the community to strengthen and develop by networking, exchanging knowledge and experiences,” said Crvenica.
