Ordre externa a utilitzar en lloc del lliurament a la bústia
mailbox_command
Aquest paràmetre especifica l'ordre externa opcional a utilitzar en lloc del lliurament a la bústia. L'ordre s'executa com l'usuari destinatari, amb els valors d'entorn apropiats de HOME, SHELL LOGNAME. Excepció: el lliurament per a root es fa com a $default_user.

Altres variables d'entorn d'interès: USER (nom de l'usuari destinatari), EXTENSION (extensió de l'adreça), DOMAIN (part del domini de l'adreça) i LOCAL (la part local de l'adreça).

Contràriament a altres paràmetres de configuració de Postfix, aquest paràmetre no està subjecte a substitucions de paràmetres. Això és per a fer més fàcil especificar sintaxi shell (vegeu l'exemple de sota).

Eviteu metacaràcters shell, perquè forçaran Postfix a executar un procés shell de fort consum. Procmail ell sol ja ho és prou.
