Viewing file: Select action/file-type: File: links-configure-colour.html, Node: Colour, Next: File Extensions and Associations, Prev: Character Sets, Up: Configuring Links 2.3 Colour[Version 0.82]Page Contents2.3.1 ColourThis version of Links has support for 16 named colours (see table below), while any other colours (given by hex values, e.g. #FF00FF) are rendered according to a "nearest colour" algorithm (see the source code module "html_r.c" if you are interested). Enabling colour support in Links using the menu system is simple. Just press <ESC>, then select Setup --> Terminal options. Click on the Color checkbox or toggle it with your keyboard's spacebar. Press <Enter> or click [OK] and that's it. But don't forget to "Save options" before exiting Links (<ESC>-s-s). To find out how to enable / disable the colour display in the Links.cfg file, see the section "Terminal options" [2.5.5]. 2.3.2 Colour TableJust so you know the limit to the colours that Links can display, here's a table with the named colours and their hex value equivalents. You should, of course, be viewing this in Links ;-).
